The legal resources page contains information, publications and resources regarding state and federal law, intended to help with understanding the Arizona & US legal system.

The Sexual and Domestic Violence Services Helpline is intended to help sexual & domestic violence survivors, concerned friends and family, and professionals working with survivors with navigating the legal system, learning about legal rights, resources, referrals, and safety planning. Assistance is provided in both English and Spanish.

Chicanos Por La Causa Offers bilingual (English and Spanish) support programs for domestic violence survivors, which include emergency shelter, legal advocacy, case management, support groups, sexual assault services, youth programs, and assistance with permanent housing and employment.

Chrysalis Center Advocacy services for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence include lay legal services, court accompaniment, legal assistance, safety planning, case management, and basic needs assistance. Defenders of Children Provides free family-law legal services to qualifying individuals. Also provides other civil legal services as well as crime victim services.

Family Lawyer Assistance Project Offers consultations with a volunteer family law attorney to assist those representing themselves in family court. No charge if eligible, otherwise $40 fee for 1/2 hour consultation. Appointments must be scheduled in advance by phone.
