Congress.gov
This is the official website of the federal legislature. It contains bills and resolutions, committee reports, the Congressional Record, Presidential nominations, treaties, and other related information including summaries and status of legislative acts. It also provides information about members of Congress, links to House and Senate committee pages, the United States Code, and other legislative resources. It is usually updated the morning after a session adjourns. You can set alerts for many of these by clicking the "Get alerts" button. Alternatively, you can visit the Get Email Alerts and Updates page to see a list of alerts on popular topics. The United States House and Senate both maintain individual websites with similar information.
FederalRegister.gov
The Federal Register is the official journal of the federal government. It is published every weekday, except for federal holidays, and contains notices, proposed rules, final rules, and executive orders. Final rules promulgated by federal agencies and published in the Federal Register are eventually codified by subject matter in the Code of Federal Regulations. Users can set alerts for individual agencies, topics, or public inspection documents by clicking the "Subscribe" button at the top right corner of the page.

This is a forum for submitting comments on rules that are considered before advancing to the next stage of the rulemaking process. You can use it to find notices, final rules, and supporting documents. You can also use it to search for information concerning the Regulatory Agenda, which compiles regulations that each agency plans to issue or has recently completed.
Reginfo.gov
The General Services Administration manages and supports the basic functioning of federal agencies. It also maintains this website, which includes brief synopses and timetables for action on rules that federal departments and agencies are considering. The website can be used to find the Current Unified Agenda, a semi-annual compilation of information about regulations under development by federal agencies. The website can also be used to download The Reg Map, a chart that explains how regulations are adopted.

This federal government website provides links to federal agency websites as well as contact information for every federal agency listed in the United States Government Manual. Agency websites are excellent sources of information about agency actions, staff, and related regulations.
Arizona State Legislature
The legislature's website provides a number of tools to see if legislation in the current legislative session is near passage or rejection, as well as tools for legislation introduced in past legislative sessions. Note that the website defaults to the current legislative session; information for past sessions can be accessed by using the drop-down box at the top of the page.
Arizona Administrative Register
The Arizona Administrative Register ("Register") is published every Friday by the Arizona Secretary of State. The Register contains, among other things, Notices of Rulemaking Docket Openings, Notices of Proposed Rulemaking, and Notices of Final Rulemaking.
