Search the library catalog to find materials owned by all ASU libraries.  Most print materials may be requested and sent to the Law Library for pickup and are usually available within 3 working days.

Sign in to your library account to view request options.  Request options are based on the availability of the item.

 Request types

  • Request: Request an item on the shelf to be delivered to any ASU library for pickup.
  • Request from an external library: Place an Interlibrary Loan request for items which are not available or are not owned by the ASU libraries.
  • Request a scan of a chapter: Request a scan of a chapter, article, or page range from a print resource.   Scan requests are subject to copyright compliance. The document will be emailed to the address in your library account.

You will be notified via email when a requested item is ready for pickup.  For assistance with requesting, please contact the Law Library Circulation Desk.

You can check due dates, view request status, and renew books through your library account.  To view your account, use the View Your Library Account link from the Law Library home page or use the Sign In option from any page within the library catalog.

Materials placed on Course Reserve at the Law Library can be searched through the library catalog.  Select Course Reserves from the drop down menu below or next to the search box to search only Course Reserves.  You can search by course number (LAW691), course name, or instructor name.

Law Course Reserves may be checked out for 4 hours and may not leave the library.  Unbound materials such as articles, cases, memoranda, sample briefs, etc. are also accessible online as Electronic Reserves.

Any questions about Law Library Course Reserves should be directed to the Circulation Desk (480) 965-6144.
